After Claire and Angelia left, Fela was prompted straight into the bath at 21:10 without going upstairs. Whilst on the bench, he had picked his left keloid and it was bleeding so I thought it best to go quickly to the bath. Fela insisted on his face scrub so I avoided the area of the left keloid where the skin had been broken.
Fela was in bed and lights out by 22:40. I applied aloe propolis under toes tonight as Fela has a blister under his right big toe and I didn’t want the tea tree oil getting on it. He also had keloid cream and tiger balm on his forehead, chest and back. I gave him a hankie to keep in his hand overnight as he seemed a bit snotty. He had just the duvet cover and weighted blanket over him as it was very warm upstairs. Night sky nature sounds were left playing on youtube.
When Fela awoke at 2:30, I prompted him to the loo. He did a pee, but was delayed leaving the loo due to absent-mindedness, and returned to bed just after 3:00. I put the duvet back in the cover as the temperature had dropped during the night. I switched to fire crackling sounds on youtube to create a cosy atmosphere in the hope of lulling him back to sleep.
I heard Fela on and off until 5:30. He may have had another hour of sleep as I next heard him at 6:40. His was sitting up in bed looking content. All his waking supplements, tea and fruit were given. Fela’s nose has been runny and he has been blowing it a lot. No doubt the rain overnight has caused the pollen to fall.
After his refreshments, Fela requested the loo. I then prompted him straight into the shower at 7:30. He was down for breakfast at 8:20. He was tapping his forehead and was a bit vocal during breakfast so I applied tiger balm to his forehead and the back of his ears and gave him a quick massage which he seemed to enjoy.
After breakfast, Fela opened a surprise parcel -a pair of summer sandals! He was very sluggish so we decided to try them on later in the day after he has rested. Michael took he, Zoe and Angelia back home around 9:40.
