03/01/2022 – Day shift – Christopher Taylor

Shift Report:

We picked fela up from Michael and Carla and took him back to his house.Fela listened to music whilst we sorted out the clothing and bedding for washing. We then went to pick up the shopping from Aldi after which we went to longton park for a walk.On return we put the shopping away and I cooked lunch for fela.Fela ate his lunch then suddenly became very agitated banging the table with his hands and became very animated.I tried to calm and redirect him by asking him if he would like to watch a dvd.Unfortunately this did not work and fela quite quickly got up from the table and lunged for me grabbing my right arm and biting me just above the wrist area.Dan tried to pull fela away from me as I was trying to push fela away. I managed to get away and fela then got hold of Dan’s arm and bit him causing bruising.Michael arranged for Emma to take me off duty so I could attend the hospital for treatment. At the time of writing I am still waiting to be seen.
