Shift Report:

As I write this report, we are about to get ready to leave for Fela’s home where Chloe is expecting us around 21:00. If anything changes between now and leaving Fela’s, I will update this.

We rang Nanna Hazel in the early afternoon about 15:00 but Fela was too focused on cards to be able to speak to her so we will try again on Tuesday when he is with us again.

After dinner, Fela clearly wanted to stay at the dining table and listen to the banter between Michael and me, so I gave him a manicure at the table. He was not amenable to a face trim afterwards but wanted to play more cards as he said “ca, ca”. Instead  I tried engaging him in dancing so he could get some exercise.

Fela wanted to spend most of the afternoon playing cards. He has two decks – one blue, one red. He likes me to shuffle the deck then he sorts them back into two piles of blue and red. Sometimes, I count the cards as I deal them into his hand, at other times he deals them into my head. He deals one deck of 54 or two at once. Sometimes I count as I’m dealing or name the card i.e. 2, 4, K, Joker etc. He really enjoys the various games, but I had to say finished around 17:45 as it was time to prepare dinner.

Fela became a bit noisy as we were dancing; he did very little dancing. I did no-stop dancing for 30 minutes vigorously so I am the one who is tired. Fela was more focused on rubbing his keloids with the aloe vera plant as we cut off bits for him.

Fela calmed considerably after 20:00 when given his bedtime meds and snack.

*Body Mapping:

Fela has a graze on the right side of his forehead and under his belly. There are darker areas. Please apply ALOE PROPOLIS to them during his morning and evening routine until further notice.

He was given a lemon, ginger and honey tea for his snack. No coughing was heard or signs of a cough or cold whilst Fela was at Green Pastures so his treatment for colds and flus may now be discontinued.

Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to Fela became very noisy for about 15 minutes whilst he was dancing. I think he felt obliged to dance but didn't really want to, so he was stomping his feet and being very vocal. Did he have a bowel movement? No Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: No Did he have vigorous exercise?: No – Why no exercise?I tried engaging him in dancing from 19.30 – 20:00 but he only got up from his chair and danced briefly to two songs.
