Fela was falling asleep in the bath so I helped him to wash his back and under his armpits, and prompted him out at 21:50. After Fela came out the bath, he did his evening routine very well and was in bed by 22:25. I sprinkled some drops of my ‘lavender and chamomile’ essential oil blend on his pillow, and noted that he seemed to fall asleep instantly as there was no sound when I turned off the lights after prayer and kisses. Youtube Bible hymns with no instruments was left on a low volume with the computer screen closed.
*I could not find the lavender oil in Fela’s black homely remedies bag. This can also be sprinked on the pillow at night so needs to be kept in his bag.
I checked on Fela at 12:30 and 4:20. He was fast asleep, and I did not hear him until 6:30 when I prompted him to the loo where he did a flood of pee. He seemed bright eyed and bushy tailed so I offered him his tea and fruit, and he nodded his head. Whilst he chomped on grapes and sipped pear and apple tea, then guzzled his small glass of water left overnight, I said some prayers with him from’365 Bible stories and prayers’ book. I repeated them twice as Fela was listening intently.
Fela started his morning routine around 8:00. I took the opportunity of cutting his toenails as they were very long. I noticed he had some hard dead skin which was falling of the side of his left toe so I used the pumice stone on it and applied some aloe propolis. He did not appear to be sensitive and wanted me to continue.
Fela started his breakfast around 8:45 and is finishing off his supplements as I write this report. He appears clam and content, only making happy humming noises.
