Fela was sitting in his rocking chair on my arrival, I said hello and then had handover from Emma.
Chloe did the board with Fela and he appeared happy. At 10.30am Fela had his morning snack and then we got ready to go out. Before we left Fela went to the toilet and passed urine.
We first went to Mama and Michael’s house to collect a new toothbrush head and to take the shopping list, we then made our way to Burslem Park.
Fela did really well on our walk, he was happy and content all the way around, we walked in a zig zag way, so we had a longer walk, after we returned to car, on the way home I nipped into Bargain World while Fela stayed in the car with Chloe.
Once home Fela took off his coat, hat and shoes with staff prompting, he then sat listening to the radio.
At 13.05 we had our lunch, Fela said prayer well and are well, after Fela brought his glass out and hung up his apron, Fela then made himself a cup of tea.
Fela then relaxed, at 13.45 Chloe practised the makaton sign for love, Fela said finished and then sat watching the relaxing fireplace on YouTube.
At 14.15 Chloe applied Almond oil to Fela’s fingers due to them being dry, at 14.49 chloe offered Fela the choice of sitting at the table to do his writing or to do it on his knee, Fela clearly refused both and said No, I also asked and Fela refused.
At 15.25 Chloe sat with Fela and did picture match cards, Fela was happy with this and did a good job.
Fela as had his snack and is now relaxing.
