I collected Fela from his house at about 9:15, he was very excited. Once at ours he asked to have a juice and cup of tea and then proceeded to Carla’s study.
He was quite noisy, and Carla tried to get him to sleep and though he was quiet for a short while it didn’t last long.
He didn’t want to help me with preparing lunch though very happy to consume it! T-Bone with sweet potato chips, julienne of peppers, onions, courgette and mushrooms, with corn on the cob and asparagus. With cake and ice cream to follow.
After lunch he sat in the lounge and watched Breathe City Church service, then Carla gave his keloids a clean, trimmed his face and then look a lawn mover to his head! Apparently the style is to be known as ‘rippled’ – please tell her how much you like it! And be sure to reassure Fela it will grow again! It’s just as well he is so tall – no one will be looking down on his head!
Zoe and Emma came to collect him about 4:45 and he left us – happy. He has been emitting his ‘droning’ noise most of the day.
