Sorry this is late. I had a few things to do before I could get to my desk.
Fela said ‘No’ to my suggestion to dance, insisting on listening the the ‘deer’ hymns upstairs on the red settee. We rang Nanna Hazel whom he had not spoken to for ages. We sang her ‘I love you, you love me’ and said a prayer with her. Fela was clearly happy to hear her voice. He blew her kisses, said her name and said ‘amen’ so she did hear his voice too.
Fela enjoyed his bath which was particularly full and on the hot side. He entered at 21:20. He asked for 5 minutes when I came to drain the water. He did his evening routine very well, and was in bed by 22:45. I heard his chest sound a bit wheezy and he coughed so I applied Tiger balm to his chest, back, neck and forehead. then we said prayer and kissed.
I checked on Fela at 23:15 and there was no sound. I checked him again at 2:45 and there was no sound. He slept through until 4:45 then went to the loo for half an hour making grunting noises until he did a small pee. On return to bed, I offered him some aloe propolis to self-administer, hoping he would drift off to sleep. but he kept making noises so at 5:45 I decided to offer him a banana then bed, and he dutifully obliged. So I think he may have sneaked another hour of sleep in at least as I did not hear him until Michael woke him at 7:30 with a cup of tea and another banana.
Fela did his morning routine well. All supplements given, and he ate a heart cooked breakfast at 9:00. When he left, he seemed quite content.

It was not a continuous noise but more like a grunt every few seconds. It too him nearly 30 minutes to get out the toilet. He finally pee-ed so perhaps he was waiting for his let-down reflex. Did he have a bowel movement? No Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: No Did he have vigorous exercise?: No – Why no exercise?I started to engage Fela in dancing after his arrival but he was clear that he wanted to sit on the red settee upstairs and listen to hymns.
