Shift Report:

Fela entered the bath a very late at 22:00. He became agitated when on the loo between 21:15 and 21:45. He was clearly out of sorts. Unfortunately, I gave him too many toilet roll sheets as he insisted on tearing off one square at a time which took forever. Also, I didn’t realise he needed to do a bowel movement so he asked for 5 but then took longer. I had to keep topping up the bath with hot water during his meltdown. Fela was vey fidgety with all the objects in the loo over and over again. He asked for music so I put on some easy listening music whilst he was still on the loo.

Fela was calm from 21:45, during his bath and up until bedtime at 22:55. I had heard him cough a few times before dinner so I applied some Tiger balm to his chest, back, then sleep oil to his forehead, inner arms and forehead.

I didn’t hear Fela at all through the night. He was still sleeping from 6:30 to 7:45 when we awoke. I went up to him at 7:45 and he stirred slightly. There was evidence that he had been to the loo in the night as there was pee in toilet bowl and the door was shut not ajar as I had left it. Fela has been calm and full of smiles since waking and enjoyed his supplements and refreshments at 8:00.

He did his morning routine well and was full of the joys of Spring even though it’s Autumn. He was down for breakfast around 9:30. At the time of writing, he is playing happily on his tongue drum to old school jazz on youtube.
