Fela was listening to music when I arrived on shift. (please see arousal)
shortly after we got ready and headed to the park (arousal)
we then went to the shop, zoe and fela remained in the car (please see arousal)
we then returned home and prepared lunch (please see arousal)
after lunch fela listened to music and was agitated on and off but calmed at approx 1.30
we got ready and shortly after we headed to drumming. Fela was very happy on the way there and done really while with Dan, he looked very proud of himself and was full of smiles. we returned home (please see arousal)
dinner was prepared and we sat down to eat (please see arousal)
fela was vocal and agitated on and off after dinner. claire put some relaxing music on and fela calmed and started to fall asleep. We called carla to see if fela could have his phone call early de to him falling asleep. Fela had an early phone call and is now int he bath looking tired
Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to 5 – Very Agitated Fela has been very agitated on and off all day. This morning shortly after I arrived on shift he was very vocal and stamping his feet and was getting agitated on and off .
-when we arrived at the park fela became very agitated, he started clapping his hands loudly, rocking vigorously, was very noisy and repeatedly said no.
-zoe reported fela was getting agitated while I was in the shop
-fela became agitated while having lunch and was jerking his head and rocking alot while being very vocal, he done the same during dinner.
-when we returned home drumming fela became very agitated when claire asked him to take his shoes off. he was stomping around, very noisy, clapping his hands, stamping his feet very aggressively on the floor (with no shoes on), making jerking movements and rocking profusely, this lastes aprox 1 hour but he did not fully calm until after dinner as during dinner he was becoming very vocal and jerking his head a lot.
with intervals of approx 15 minutes fela has gone from being happy to noisy to agitated (very agitated at some points) throughout the day. the only time he has remained calm for a long period of time was from approx 1.30 pm – 4pm as he was very happy before, during and on the way home from drumming.
