I arrived just before 9am and said hello to Fela, he was sat in the lounge relaxing and listening to music. I took handover from Emma and then cracked on with chores. At 9.55am Claire did the board with Fela and he appeared happy with the board. At 10.30 Fela had his snack and drink. At 11am Fela used the toilet, popped his shoes on and we headed out to brough Park in leek. Once we arrived, we had a lovely walk around the park and saw the ducks. We gave Fela some fruit and a drink in the car before leaving, he was supposed to have a picnic but due to a mishap with the Tupperware, Fela had to have lunch at home. We had a lovely drive back and stopped at the butchers before arriving back home. Once home Fela used the toilet and then went to the dining table, said prayer and ate neat and tidy. At 13.40pm Fela requested his keloids be cleaned, Claire did the board with Fela and he requested Joseph music. At 14.30pm we asked Fela if he would like to do some colouring Fela initially said No, so me and Claire asked Fela if he would like us to colour in, Fela gave us both a drawing and then agreed to colour in. We all sat and coloured in. Once he had finished Fela requested music. At 15.30pm Fela had his snack and requested alone time if I asked Fela if I could sit Fela said “go go”. At 17.00pm I asked Fela if he would like to do Makaton for “cow” as we had seen cows in a field on the drive home, Fela agreed and we got Lucinda up on YouTube to show us the sign, Fela did very well and got it straight away. I then asked Fela if he would like to do handle, Fela refused, I asked if he would like a head massage, Fela refused and a little while later I asked if he would like to do Makaton “any dream will do” Fela aid “no no”. We then left Fela to relax and listen to music. At 17.40 Fela used the toilet, then made his way to the table for tea, said prayer and ate neat and tidy. After Tea Fela requested music (greatest showman). At 18.45 we popped Mr Motivator on YouTube, we all got involved and gave it a good go. Fela had enough after about 10 minutes and requested his keloids be cleaned, I did this for him. I asked Fela what DVD he would like and Fela requested “JLS”, Adele then gave Fela a head massage. At 8pm Fela had his supplement, snack and drink. At 8.30pm Fela had a call with Mama which he appeared to enjoy and seemed to engage very well. Fela then continued to watch JLS DVD. Once it had finished Fela made his way to the bathroom, and got into the bath, Fela is happily splashing away.
Fela has been vocal on and off today but appears to have enjoyed his day.
