When I arrived Fela was finishing off his supplements as he was seated at the dining table.
He then went to sit down on his rocking chair. I noticed he was blinking his eyes quite a lot which normally suggests that something is in them besides the eye ball. So, using a clean hankie, I flicked his upper eyelashes back and pulled down the lower lids to see whether an eyelash had fallen in. Fela was happy for me to do so when I asked if it was okay. I noticed one of the upper eye lashes on his right eye was longer than all the others and hanging downwards towards his eye. I carefully cut off the bit that was hanging with a small metal scissors from his nail kit.
That may have been why Fela has been up and down on Tuesday and Wednesday. At least we have eliminated a probability.
We left for the GP, and he received a clean bill of health. Well done, Fela! We drove to Green Pastures where I was dropped off and Zoe collected. Fela was smiling as he left.
