I arrived on shift and fela was fast asleep in bed. We then took handover from Emma.
Fela woke naturally at 9:50am, he got up and used the toilet, Teresa then went up to him and gave him his supplements, fruit and tea.
I cracked on with chores.
Fela got into the shower, Teresa assisted with his morning routine.
I then prepared felas breakfast.
We sat with fela, fela Said prayer and ate well.
Fela took his supplements and then used the toilet (large b/m) fela then moved to the rocker to relax and listen to music and have his cup of tea.
We then got our outdoor wear on and headed out to ford green nature reserve, we had a lovely walk around for about 40 minutes. Fela stopped halfway and had his snack and drink.We then nipped to Carla’s to pick up some mattress protectors.
Once home fela removed his outdoor wear and made his way to the lounge to relax and listen to music.
At 13:50pm fela used the toilet and passed urine.
At 2pm fela had his lunch, we said prayer and fela ate well.
After lunch fela moved over to his rocker, relaxed and listened to music.
Fela then used the toilet and passed urine, fela then made his way back to the lounge.
Myself and Claire then sat with fela and did Makaton signs for pets.
I then started to read mannys bananas to fela, as I was reading fela became agitated, stamping his feet, vocal, clicking his fingers at 15:15pm. This lasted a couple of minutes.
Myself and Claire left the room and allowed fela time to calm down.
Fela then calmed so I offered him a apple, juice and a dvd.
Fela chose Joseph to watch.
Fela then became agitated again, slapping his head, rocking vigorously and banging his feet on the ground. This agitation once again lasted a few minutes.
Fela then used the toilet and passed urine.
Fela then made his way back to the lounge, we had a little dance then I gave fela a head massage, fela then continued to watch the dvd.
