Fela was sitting at the table when I arrived at 0900. He was finishing off his water. At 0910, fela too his glass to the sink and cleaned the table.
At 0915, I did the board with fela and at 0930, I cleaned fela’s keloids.
Fela had a cup tea and listened to summer chill out music. Fela had been quite noisy up until this point.
At 1020, fela had a snack and then got his shoes on. At 1040, fela used the toilet before leaving for our walk at 1045. Fela was quiet in the car.
We arrived at Rudyard Lake at 1115 and had a 45 minute walk in the shaded area. We had to tell fela to be quiet 3 times during the walk.
Fela chose to sit on a bench and have his snack and drink at 1200. We were back in the car at 1210.
We got back to fela’s House at 1255 and lunch was ready at 1300. Fela sat at the table and said prayer with staff, but he then became very vocal and aggitated. He was shouting and jumping in his chair and wouldn’t listen to Zoe or myself. So we gave fela some space and left the table. Fela continued to be aggitated and had moved the table across the room through jumping and rocking.
Once fela had finished his lunch, he asked for ice cream. He was given an ice lolly and he began to quieten down at 1320.
At 1330, fela asked for juice, he came to the kitchen to take off his apron and I made him a 80 water/20 diluted fresh orange drink. Fela then went to sit on the sofa. And chose a dvd to watch. He chose simbas pride.
Fela was still noisy at this point but not aggitated. Staff asked fela is he wanted the toilet, his keloids cleaned, a lie down or if he wanted company. He said no to all. So we gave fela some space.
At 1500, fela’s dvd had finished, so I told fela I would clean his keloids. I asked fela if he wanted music or another dvd and he chose Lion King. After I’d cleaned his keloids, I prompted fela to the toilet and he passed urine. Fela seemed a lot happier.
At 1515, fela had a cup of tea and both Zoe and myself kept fela company in the lounge. Fela was quiet with us in there.
Fela had snack at 1530 and continued to watch his dvd.
At 1630, the dvd went off and I fela chose to listen to jazz.
