Fela arrived at Green Pastures just before 21:00, and was in the bath by 21:20. He was slow doing his evening routine, and it was obvious he was very tired. He was in bed by 22:40.
I prompted Fela to the toilet at 2:30. He took 20 minutes on the loo, and I’m not sure whether he did anything. He may have struggled to get back to sleep because he was awake for so long, but I did not hear anything from him until Michael woke him at 7:30. He became quite vocal so I checked that the bed was dry which it was. He prompted him to the loo, and then he had his apple, water left by his bed overnight and tea. I sat with him for a while and chatted, and noticed his eyes looked heavy.
When given the choice between shower and more sleep, Fela chose more sleep and lay down in bed of his own accord at 8:10. He was quiet for a while but I’m not sure whether he went back to sleep. Just before 9:00, I offered to cut his fingernails as they were quite long. He immediately sat up in bed.
When Emma and Claire arrived, they began his morning routine, and he was down for breakfast at 10:00. At the time of writing, he is having his breakfast and supplements.
*When Fela arrived at Green Pastures, he was rubbing his middle right finger which has an area where the upper layer of skin has come off. I applied aloe propolis to all his fingers last night when he got into bed.
*A plaster will need to be applied to this finger during the day to prevent him from rubbing it.
