As I write this report, Fela is relaxing in the bath.
Fela had a late start to the day as he requested more time to sleep. Therefore we did not get to go to church today.
We left his home around 10:45, dropped in at the Co-op to pick up some food for dinner, and arrived at Green Pastures around 11:10. Fela did not have his breakfast until 11:30, but a banana was given at 10:30 in addition to his fruit and tea on waking. This kept him going until breakfast.
Fela was content to stay downstairs the whole day. He listened to Kanye West’s Sunday service and the Deer hymns on youtube. I gave him a facial trim and a pedicure whilst he was downstairs.
He was not interested in colouring when I offered it to him. He was scratching his face a lot so I kept offering him cotton pads with witch hazel, aloe gel and aloe propolis cream in the mini pots for hom to self-apply.
He had a meltdown around 20:00 [see arousal report] but I think it was because he was overly tired. Fela has eaten well, and all supplements administered.
Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to 4 – Agitated Fela became agitated around 19:50 as I passed the phone over to Michael so he could speak to my mum. Fela may have wanted to speak as well, but it was not appropriate to speak whilst he was upset. Also, he may have been overly tired as he did not have a nap this afternoon despite his disturbed night.
Fela's agitation was shown by rocking aggressively in the armchair for nearly 30 minutes. Did he have a bowel movement? Yes Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: No Did he have vigorous exercise?: No – Why no exercise? Fela has been out of sorts the whole day so did not want to push him.
