I arrived on shift just before 9am, fela was still asleep so I had handover with Chloe.
Fela woke at 9.20am, Adele went up to fela with his supplements. I then took fela his tea and fruit up and sat with him whilst he had these.
At 09.40am I asked fela If he was ready to use the shower and toilet, fela said yes and full of smiles made his way to the bathroom. I gave fela 5 and asked him if he was ready to get in the shower, fela said “5”, I have now left fela to use the toilet. Fela got intO the shower at 10am and I signed for fela to have 10 minutes.
Adele then assisted fela with his morning routine whilst I cracked on with chores. Fela became vocal once he had finished in the shower and stood by the toilet stamping his feet, this lasted a couple of minutes. Once finished fela chose his clothes and got ready with Adele.
I gave fela a choice of cornflakes or porridge for breakfast and fela chose cornflakes and helped to get his breakfast ready. Fela then said prayer and ate neat and tidy. Fela became vocal whilst eating breakfast so I asked him if he was ok, fela signed for honey so I popped him some on his breakfast. I asked fela If he would like me to sit with him but fela said “no”, I stood at the door and fela said “go”. Fela then allowed Adele to sit with him.
After fela had finished breakfast he had his supplements and then used the toilet, fela had a large b/m (no blood). Once finished fela made his way to the lounge, I cleaned his keloids and then popped some tiger balm on his head and neck.
Fela then chose to listen to greatest showman and relax. I did the board with fela and he seemed happy, smiling at the board.
I asked fela if he would like to play cards, fela said no, I asked fela if he would like to play dominoes and fela said no, I then asked if he would like a story but fela refused and appeared content listening to music.
Fela had lunch at 13.30pm, he said prayer well and ate neat and tidy. Once he had finished, fela wiped the table and then made his way to the rocker.
Adele asked fela if he would like to watch the greatest showman, fela said yes, I did the board with fela and popped the dvd on for him. I then asked fela if he would like his keloids cleaned, fela said yes, I also applied almond oil to his nails.
At 15.10pm fela used the toilet (bowel movement medium, no blood. then we got ready to head out to flip out, fela popped his shoes and coat on, we had a lovely drive and took the scenic route which fela seemed to really enjoy.
We arrived at flipout just before 5pm, fela had an amazing time at flipout and was laughing and smiling throughout. Fela bounces for 40minutes and then signed finish, fela made his way to the bathroom and got changed. Once back at the car fela had his supplements and then ate his dinner in the car.
We had a lovely drive home and once home fela took his coat/hat/scarf off and made his way into the lounge and continued to watch the greatest showman movie. Fela appeared tired so we sat with fela, Zoe cleaved his keloids and I popped some relaxing music on for him. Fela then had a hot chocolate and snack abs had his supplement.
Fela made his way into the bathroom at 20:45pm, I assisted him with his nighttime routine. Fela is now relaxing in the bath.
Fela has had a lovely day and has been in a lovely mood.
