Fela was just coming downstairs on my arrival, I said hello and then had handover from Claire.
Fela had his breakfast and then I did the board with Fela, I gave Fela the Chatterley Whitfield card a he said yes, I gave Fela the cards and let Fela put them on the board, Fela then relaxed listening to Louie Armstrong.
At 10.30am Fela had his snack while sitting at the table after Fela became agitated, jumping up and down on the chair, very noisy and hitting hands on the table, I gave Fela the board and asked if he wanted to remove the walk, I left Fela to calm and he then went to sit in his rocking chair, I then went into Fela and I did the board, when I removed the Chatterley card Fela said finished, I then did the board and Fela chose to watch a film, I then cleaned Fela’s keloids.
Staff relaxed with Fela and we all had a cup of tea, Fela had honey, lemon and ginger, Fela requested me to clean his keloids.
We then had our lunch, Fela said prayer well and ate well, he was doing very well blowing his food to cool it down, after Fela sat in his rocking chair and I cleaned his keloids, Fela then signed to me to go asleep, Fela lay on the sofa and I made the room sleep ready, Fela relaxed and was silent on his sofa for approximately 1hr, he then got up independently and went to the toilet.
Fela sat on the toilet and became very agitated on and off, stamping his feet, gutteral noises and very noisy, this lasted on and off for approximately 20 minutes.
Fela then returned to the lounge and sat on his sofa, I did the board with Fela and he appeared happy, I then put some music on for Fela and then Emma applied tiger Balm, Fela relaxed and staff kept joining Fela and sitting with him
Fela then sat in his rocking chair and had a foot spa, we put a movie on and I did some handle with Fela, ball on head, Fela appeared to be very relaxed and enjoyed this.
After Fela’s foot spa Emma cleaned Fela’s keloids and then we had our evening meal, Fela ate well, after Fela went to the toilet, he then returned to the lounge and had a lovely phone call off Mama, Fela was looking very tired throughout the day, so he had his phone call early, after his phone call Emma cleaned Fela’s keloids and applied aloe gel, Fela then continued to relax listening to music.
At 8pm Fela sat at the table and had his evening snack, after Fela sat in his rocking chair and continued to listen to music and he had a head massage off Emma.
Fela then completed his bath routine excellent, full of smiles.
