Apologies for the delay of this shift report. I have not been feeling well since Friday. I did a part shift – the beginning of the afternoon shift. Fela was lying on the settee and Maxine was massaging his head when I arrived. He seemed very relaxed.
Within half an hour after she left he began to rock so we prompted him on to his chair. I played some cards with Fela in between doing some chores. He was happy to listen to the ‘Deer’ hymns on youtube. I told him he would be getting a surprise visitor later.
I tried offering Fela some skull tapping but he only let me do it for a couple of minutes. I prompted him to do some ball rolling with his feet as physiotherapy.
Zoe and Adele (surprise) arrived, and I had to leave quickly to collect Fela’s car from the garage after its service. Fela seemed happy to see Adele, and she said he was doing the ‘T for trouble sign’ with her.
