I arrived for shift and fela was sat up in bed with his fruit and cup a tea. We then had handover from Emma.
I then went up to fela and said morning and prompted to finish his tea. Fela then got out of bed and in to the bathroom. Fela appeared to be very slow this morning still appeared to be very tired. Fela then got into the shower. Fela then completed his routine with lots of prompts and seemed to be slow processing. Fela has been very quite and himself
Fela was downstairs for breakfast for 10.20am zoe sat with fela while did some chores she past over thst fela seemed disinterested in his breakfast.
Fela tried to communicate with me but couldn’t get past i would like Myself and zoe gave fela some space and he became very agaited while at the table. I rang Carla for advice as fela seemed very out of sorts. While I was on phone fela became very agaoted banging table rocking backwards and forward , jumping up. We followed coral advice abs asked fela if he wanted to stay home or go mama and micheal fela gave me home card and I asked if wanted it on board fela gave thumbs up. Fela got slightly agaited then gave zoe mama and micheal card and indicated finished so zoe put it away.
Zoe asked fela if he wanted have lay down and fela signed sleep he then became very agaited as we gave fela space and kept checking on him. Fela then got up used the toilet once calmed. Myself and zoe both asked fela if wanted to go mama and micheal house using the yes and no cards, we did this to make sure that fela had indicated his choice correctly and not got confused fela very clearly indicated he wanted to stay home by putting home card on yes and mama and micheal cards on no. Fela seemed to calm and relax more. Zoe explained to fela he can have lay down and zoe would make him a lovely lunch. Fela was then full of smiles.
Once finished came out of the bathroom abd he went sat on sofa I gave him a white willow bark and fela then relaxed and closed his eyes. We did hear fela for approximately 40mins he then got up went to the toilet independently. He then came into the staff asked for food/lunch and was laughing full of smile.
Fela went sat on the toilet once fela had finsihed on toilet he washed his hands and became agaoted jumping up and down, stamping feet very nosie.this lasted for about 20min. Fela then went sat on sofa zoe gave fela cotton pads with witch Hazel on and he relaxed watching call of the wild.
We then all sat down for dinner fela said prayer well.
After we had finished meal fela had pudding once he had pudding he went to the toilet. Once finished in bathroom fela went to sit on sofa and carried on watching his film I asked fela if he wanted me to sit or 5 he pointed to chair and indicated for me to sit .
I went in to check on fela and he was relaxing i asked if he was okay fela asked for toilet. Fela went to sit on the toilet for about 30nins and had large bowel movement. Once he had finsihed in bathroom he went sat on the sofa and carried on watching call of wild. Once this had finished fela picked to watch 2 brother’s. Zoe then applied tiger balm to fela head,chest and back and then I took fela tempature which was normal. Fela then relaxed watching his film.
Teresa arrived for her shift and we had handover. I then went into fela to see if he was okay and asked if he wanted five or me to sit he pointed to the chair so I sat with fela and watched rest of dvd, fela then asked for head massage so fela lay down and had head massage. When dvd had fished I asked fela if he wanted another dvd or music he asked for. Fela sat on the sofa relaxing listening to the drifters.
Fela then sat down for his dinner fela said prayer well and ate neat and tidy. After fela had finsihed his evening meal I did the board with fela.
Fela then went and sat on the toilet past urine. Fel then went sat on his sofa and picked to watch Joseph.
At 8pm fela went sat at the table and had his snack. After fela had his snack he sat on the sofa and spoke to mama.
When fela had finished on the phone to mama he went into the bathroom and past urine. Fela then got in to the bath and Teresa supported fela with his personal care.
Fela then got out the bath and completed night time routine with Teresa.
On wrting this report fela is happily splashing in bath
