I came on shift at 12:30pm, Fela was using the toilet (no b/m). I took handover from Carla and continued to prepare Fela his lunch. Once he had finished on the toilet Fela sat down and listened to music. Fela then came to the table, took his supplement, said prayer, and had his lunch (neat and tidy). After lunch Fela made himself and staff a drink, Fela chose hot chocolate. He then made his way into the lounge to relax and listen to music. Fela then used the toilet and had a large B/M, normal, no blood. Adele then did the board with Fela, and offered him a facial trim, he accepted this offer, Fela let Adele do half of his face, then Adele asked if I could do the other half and he agreed. We then did Makaton signs (pets) with Fela, he did really well and remembered all of the signs. Adele then did “a thousand miles song” with Makaton signs and Fela participated in this. Fela then had his snack of fruit salad and tea. Fela has chosen to watch a DVD, Paddington bear. He appears settled and happy but does appear tired.
