Fela was quietly eating an apple when I arrived. I had handover with Zoe that he had had a good night’s sleep. After she left, we did the board with Fela and he seemed happy with the walk in the neighbourhood.
Fela was not keen on doing a chore, as he was busy listening to the Drifters in his rocking chair. Adele and I cracked on with chores including cleaning the burnt area off the iron using soap, sodium bicarbonate and vinegar on a cloth.
We set off for the walk after his snack. Fela was quick off the blocks and Adele and I struggled to keep up. It took 40 minutes in all with a brief break to sit down on the bench in front of Holden Pool.
On returning home, Adele supported Fela wit changing his sweaty clothes whilst I prepared Fela’s lunch. At the time of departure, Fela is having lunch with Adele and Alicia. Thank you, Alicia for agreeing to finish the shift – much appreciated!
