Fela was listening to music while in his rocker when I arrived. We had handover and soon after Paige arrived. Fela seemed happy but tired while paige was here, he repeatedly looked at his social story and then looked at her. Claire done the board with fela and then soon after he lay on the sofa turned towards the back of the sofa and seemed to have fallen asleep, Fela was asleep for approx 1 hour. He woke up and seemed in a happy mood and we got ready to head out to look for an ironing board. When we arrived at the shop Fela said ‘no’ numerous times when we were getting out of the car and said ‘stay’ pointing to his seat. I ran in and fela stayed in the car with claire and remained happy. We then returned home and had lunch. Fela ate well (please see arousal)
once Fela calmed he remained lying on the sofa with his blanket over his head but was slightly vocal on and off so did not sleep. Soon after we got ready and headed to drumming which Fela seemed happy about. When we arrived Fela requested the toilet and had a bowel movement.
Fela done very well with dan. we returned home and Fela requested a dvd while staff prepared dinner. Once the dvd was over we had dinner. Fela then chilled with music before heading out for a walk. Fela was vocal but happy throughout the walk. we returned home and fela had his snack and then spoke to carla on the phone.
fela is now in the bath happily splashing away but looking tired
Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to 5 – Very Agitated once fela had finished his lunch he suddenly started rocking and then jumping up and down on his chair while being very noisy this soon stopped and only lasted approx 1 minute.
fela again became agitated while he got onto the sofa after lunch he lay down, covered his head with his blanket and calmed after approx 5 minutes.
while out for a walk fela was vocal but happy Did he have a bowel movement? Yes Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: No Did he have vigorous exercise?: Yes – walk around neighbourhood for approx 30 minutes and fela worked up a good sweat
