Fela was playing card’s with Zoe Lou on my arrival, I said hello and then had handover.
After I went into Fela and Zoe Lou and I had a game of card’s with Fela, after I asked Fela if he would like me to read a story to him, Fela chose a story and was very happy for me to read, after Fela chose another story and was very happy.
At 17.55 Fela had his evening meal, Fela said prayer well and ate well, after Fela finished he asked me very clear for rice, Fela had risotto for his meal, we praised Fela for his good communication and he was very happy with this, after we finished Fela brought his dishes out and then wiped the dining table clean and then wiped the top of the cooker.
At 18.45 Zoe Lou cleaned Fela’s keloids and I spoke to Carla for advice, Fela was very sleepy and asking to lie down, Carla suggested perhaps for Fela to have a shower or a bath before his evening snack.
Zoe Lou had encouraged Fela to do a jigsaw puzzle, it was spiderman and we all sat together having a go of doing it, this did the trick and by the end, Fela was smiling and happy, Fela finished the jigsaw at 19.40.
I made Fela his evening drink at 19.55 and Fela had his supplements, he then had his evening snack, after Fela enjoyed a phone call off Mama, Fela appeared to be very tired and falling asleep, we encouraged Fela upstairs for his shower at 20.40.
We decided on a shower due to Fela being very tired but also due to the running water in the bath been lukewarm.
Once upstairs Fela had a shower and was very happy, Fela got out of the shower and was slow at points completing his night routine, we let Fela go at his own pace, due to Fela being tired and possibly processing alot slower.
Fela was in bed by 21.25, Fela said his night prayer and goodnight very clear.
Music cd left on, fan left on and small drink of water left on Fela’s bedside table.
