I arrived for my shift just before 9am, Fela was sat at the table eating his breakfast. Me and Zoe had handover from Emma. Fela then had his supplement and finished his breakfast. At 9.10am Zoe did the board with Fela, Fela listened to music whilst we did the chores. At 9.45am Fela used the toilet (large B/M- blood). We left the house at 10am to go to Astbury Mere, Fela had his snack in the car whilst we were driving there. Fela had a lovely time whilst out and appeared happy and laughing throughout the walk. We arrived back at midday, Fela came in and made himself a drink and made staff a drink. Fela then had a DVD on, he chose little women. Fela then had lunch, he said prayer and ate really well. After lunch Fela made his way to the toilet and remained on the toilet for some time, checked on regularly and kept requesting 5, large B/M no blood. I asked Fela if he would like to help me make the bark, but he said “no”, Fela then continued watching Little women on DVD, Fela requested an ice lolly so I gave this to Fela. At 15.30, Fela had his snack. At 16.00 Fela had picked his Keloids and made them bleed so I cleaned them. Fela then went to the toilet again (no B/M), after using the toilet Fela became very vocal, he requested 5 so that was given, Fela was trying to communicate something to us but neither me or chloe had seen the sign before or understood what he was trying to say, Fela became very vocal and slightly aggitated. Once calm I did the board with Fela and put some music on for him. At 17.35 Fela had his supplements and became agitated, given time to calm down. At 18.00 Fela had his tea and was smiling throughout and appeared much happier. After tea Fela listened to some calming music and had a back massage and foot spa, Fela had picked his keloids again so I aske if he would like me to clean them but he said “no”, Chloe gave Fela a cotton wool pad with witch hazel and he cleaned his keloids himself. At 19.40 Fela had a drink of Chamomile tea. At 19.55, Fela had his evening snack and sat in the lounge listening to calming music and louis Armstrong, Fela appeared extremely happy, clapping, clicking his fingers and smiling and laughing.
