I came on shift just before 16:45pm, I took handover from Emma and Zoe. I then went and said hello to fela who was relaxing in the lounge listening to music.
I offered fela to clean his keloids but he declined, a little while later I asked fela again and he happily accepted so I cleaned his keloids, popped almond oil on his fingers and gave fela a head massage.
Fela is now relaxing listening to the greatest showman whilst we crack on with chores.
We all sat down for dinner at 6pm and fela had his supplements. Fela said prayer and ate neat and tidy. Fela has been laughing and smiling throughout dinner. Fela asked for more food so i gave him more, he then had pudding.
After tea fela took his apron off and moved to the rocker, Clare did board with fela and he appeared happy. Fela was scratching his keloids so I cleaned them for him.
At 7pm we did walk at home, fela was so happy, jumping up and down, laughing and smiling, fela really enjoyed the walk at home tonight.
At 7:20pm we offered fela the dvd book and he chose a dvd to watch (despicable me) and had a hot chocolate as per his request. At 19.50pm fela made his own snack with my assistance and was giggling throughout. Fela then made his way into the lounge to continue watching his dvd and eating his snack. At 8pm fela had his supplement.
At 20:45pm fela made his way to the bathroom, used the toilet then took his clothes off and put them in the basket and then got into the bath. I assisted fela with his night time routine and fela is now happily splashing away in the bath.
Fela has been extremely happy throughout the shift, laughing and smiling and giggling and being a cheeky chappy! Lovely shift had by us all.
