I came on shift just before 9am, I had handover with Zoe and said hello to Fela. Fela was sat at the table finishing his water. Once finished he had his supplements and I did the board with him.
Fela then made his way to his rocking chair and relaxed listening to music (the drifters) whilst we cracked on with chores, Fela requested his keloids be cleaned, this was done by Chloe.
Fela had his snack and drink at 10.30am.
Fela then became agitated at 10.50am, this lasted a couple of minutes very vocal, clapping loudly and rocking backwards and forwards.
At 11am Fela continued to relax and listen to music.
At 11.30am Fela popped his shoes on and made his way to the bathroom, he used the toilet and had (large B/M with blood)
Once Fela had finished we made our way out, we had a lovely walk around the neighbourhood, Fela appeared happy, laughing and smiling and showed us which way he would like to go.
We arrived back home at 12.45pm, Fela took his shoes, jacket and cap off and washed his hands, he then sat at the table, said prayer and ate his lunch (neat and tidy).
Board was then completed with Fela and he then relaxed on the sofa watching a DVD of choice (little women) and relaxed.
At 14.10pm Fela popped his shoes on and used the toilet and we then headed out to drumming.
Fela did well at drumming although he did appear a little slow at processing what dan was saying, but Fela was laughing throughout and smiling and appeared to enjoy the whole experience. Fela had his keloids cleaned twice whilst at drumming as he appeared to be itching quite a lot.
We arrived back home at 5pm, Fela used the toilet and popped his shoes, jacket and cap off. Fela then sat on the sofa and continued to watch DVD (little women).
At 18.05pm We all sat at the table and said prayer, we had just started eating when Fela became agitated, rocking backwards and forwards, myself and Chloe left the room, Fela was seen on camera banging the table, very vocal and clapping his hands. Fela then continued to eat his dinner and once calm had cake and ice-cream.
After dinner Fela made his way to the sofa and continued to watch DVD (little women), he appeared much calmer and relaxed.
At 19.30pm the film had finished so I popped some relaxing music on for Fela and he had his camomile tea, snack and supplement.
Fela appears relaxed now and is happily listening to relaxing music.
Fela made his way to the bathroom at 20.40pm, took his clothes off and got into the bath, I assisted Fela with his personal care and gave him a face scrub, Fela appeared to enjoy this and is now relaxing in the bath, splashing away.
Fela has appeared happy at times today but has also been agitated at times.
