Shift Report:
Fela has had a positive day. He has been relatively calm with lots of smiles. The highlights of his day were as follows:
- watching T.D. Jakes preaching in the morning and early afternoon on request. I noticed a lot of the videos he points to in the list of recommended videos, are videos he has already seen.
- Fela put the cooking card on the TEACCH board so I put the ‘Sunday’ card underneath it, and re-iterated that this would be tomorrow.
- We tried to break the T.D. Jakes fixation (although there are worse fixations in life!) by bringing the Sister Act DVD to show him. He allowed me to switch from youtube to Plex without getting up to give me the T.D. Jakes picture off the board.
- After the Sister Act original DVD, he got up and pointed to ‘The Perfect Man’ so we started it as I set the table for dinner.
- After dinner, he finished the DVD and really enjoyed it as he did ‘Sister Act.’
- After his food had settled, I made him a footspa with a few drops of ylang ylang oil, and he put on the shoulder massager.
- Fela is currently humming in the bath so I’m going to assist him with the final stages of his bath and to finish his evening routine.
