Fela was quiet from 12 midnight until 7:00. He took a while to settle after getting into bed for 23:00. He stood for about 30 minutes over the toilet waiting patiently to pass urine before he would get into bed. I thought he was falling asleep while standing but he was determined to carry on.
I applied tiger balm to his back and chest. I left the ‘So Cool’ CD on repeat and sound level 5 playing softly in the background so this may have helped Fela stay asleep by masking other noises such as passing traffic.I gave him some lavender oil to sniff and dabbed some on his forehead as midnight was approaching.
I checked on him at 4:00 then 6: 15. there was no sound so I left him to sleep. He was lethargic on waking and kept rubbing his head but was disinclined to go to the loo. Eventually when I checked him again around 7:30 he was beaming. Gentle humming suggested he had slept well. I went at his pace in doing his morning routine, as he was reluctant to get out of bed. He was down for breakfast around 9:30, and I left him with Emma, Maxine and Janet, the HANDLE practitioner around 10:15.
Hope they all enjoy the training and the day ahead.
