I came on shift just before 9am, I said hello to fela and took handover from Claire. We cracked on with chores whilst fela relaxed listening to music. Zoe did the board with fela and then cleaned his keloids. Fela was vocal this morning at 9:30am and appeared to want company so myself and Zoe sat with him.Fela then got ready to go out and used the toilet. We headed to apedale country park and arrived at 10:35am and had a lovely walk around in the woods and on the path. Fela stopped half way to have his snack and drink and then we headed back to the car. We arrived back home at 11:53am, fela took his shoes/coat/hat/ scarf off and made his way into the lounge to relax and listen to jazz music. Whilst cooking the fire alarm went off so we seized the opportunity to do a fire drill, fela did amazing, he was straight up and out. We praised fela for being so quick and listening to Zoe.
We all sat down for Lunch at 12.30pm, fela said prayer well and ate neat and tidy. Once finished fela made his way to his rocker and relaxed listening to music. Fela got up at 13:00 and used the toilet (no b/m).
At 13:15pm I asked fela If he would like to help me bake a cake but fela declined, I asked fela if he would like me to bake a cake and fela said yes and laughed.
At13:30pm I asked fela if he would like me to clean his keloids, fela replies yes so I did this.
I asked fela if he would like to make a hot drink, fela agreed and made myself, him and his mama a drink of tea. We did handover with Carla, I then did board with fela and we popped Joseph on dvd, I then cleaned felas keloids. Fela took it upon himself to set the table for dinner, I let him and he appeared rather pleased with himself.
Fela continued to relax and watch Joseph on dvd and had his snack and drink at 3:20pm. Due to fela being amazing and helping with chores I gave fela a sticker and he appeared very happy with this.
At 16:30pm Chloe came in and handover was given, mama went home. I did the board with fela.Once fela had finished watching Joseph I popped some music on for him (soul woman at his request).
Fela used the toilet at 17:34pm (no b/m). Fela then had his supplements.
We all sat down to eat at 18.10pm, fela said prayer well and ate neat and tidy.
After tea fela relaxed and listened to jazz music and played with sensory balls.
Fela requested a hot chocolate so I made this for him, once he had finished fela had a foot spa, fela appeared very relaxed.
Fela requested a neck and head massage so I did this for him.
At 8pm fela had his supplement and snack. At 8:20pm felas spoke to mama on the the phone, once again his good night and I love you was said beautifully. Lots of praise was given to fela by myself for this.
At 8:45pm fela made his way to the bathroom, undressed and used the toilet fela got into the bath, and I assisted him with his night time routine, he had a b/m (medium, no blood) before getting into the bath.
Fela is now happily splashing away in the bath.
Fela has been vocal on and off throughout the day but has appeared happy. Fela has had a lovely day and has appeared relaxed and content.
