Fela was sitting on his rocker when I arrived on shift, I said hello and then had handover.
Fela had his red folder in his hand and repeatedly requested garfield so this was put on while staff done chores. We then got ready and headed out to get some shopping that fela needed and went to the butchers.
We returned home and upon Fela getting out of the car we noticed that he had been incontinent, fela went to the bathroom to change his clothes. Please see arousal.
Fela changed his clothes and then we sat for lunch (please see arousal) After lunch fela changed his top half again due to sweating. He sat in his rocker and chilled while finishing off his movie and then moved to the sofa where he lay down with his blanket.
Fela then came into the staffroom before heading to the toilet. As fela has not seemed himself today and his voice has been very croaky Zoe rang Carla who advised us to take his temperature and apply tiger balm. Fela had a normal temperature but has had ginger, honey and lemon tea throughout the day which has seemed to help as fela has seemed much happier this evening.
Fela had his dinner and ate well. He then requested another movie ‘the incredibles 2) and sat happily watching it. Fela had his snack and then spoke to Carla and started his night routine. Fela has had a facial scrub int he bath and has Epson’s salts in it.

Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to 5 – Very Agitated Fela became very agitated when we arrived home lasting apporx 45 minutes. Fela was jumping up and down, was very vocal, rocking, sweating and clapping his hands.
At lunch fela became very agitated again jumping up and down on his chair and rocking then he would calm for a minute before becoming agitated and doing this again.
Fela calmed after lunch but was having times where he was vocal and didn't seem very happy Did he have a bowel movement? Yes Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: Yes Did he have vigorous exercise?: No – Why no exercise? refused exercise
