Fela was delayed getting to bed because after his evening routine he sat on the loo for a good 45 minutes. He was in bed by 23:15 but he did not become quiet until around midnight.
Fela went to the loo around 5:00 after hearing me on the landing. He then went straight back to bed and to sleep. I heard him at 6:45 so I prompted him to the loo, then took him an apple sliced and cored and his favourite pear and apple tea.
Fela started his morning routine at 7:50 and was down for breakfast at 8:50. He had a hearty breakfast with mackerel, onions, potatoes, tomato , mushrooms and scrambled eggs. It looked so delicious that he said the grace twice – once before the aloe vera juice and once before the meal!
Fela left Green Pastures just before 10:00 and was quiet and content.
*Kindly bear in mind the following:
- I heard Fela make a dry cough during the night so I applied Tiger balm liberally on his chest and back this morning. He does not appear to be unwell, but please monitor and report back any further signs of a cold.
- Fela is dipping his fingers in the toilet repeatedly after use and drying his fingers on his shirt so please ensure he washes his hands with soap and dries them on the towel after using the toilet.
- Please ensure Fela uses the hand wipes before he eats if it is not convenient to wash his hands. Remember he is touching things constantly and so picking up a lot of germs. He likes to use two hand wipes at a go.
