Night time routine completed Fela did well
Morning routine please read arousal state.
Other than Felas arousal.state staff please see Fela completed his morning routine really well, apart from being vocal. Nothing was out of charitor I could not see any triggers. I think this was due to tiredness though out the past two nights.
Arousal States – Start: 2a – Vocal but happy End: 2b – Vocal unhappy Did his state change? Yes to 6 – Aggresive Fela had an unsettled night he was awake at 1am 3am fell asleep until 4.50am I prompted Fela to go toilet at this time, he went to toilet with no issues, he made his way back bed after toilet visit.
He also slept through to 7.20am when I heard him humming upstairs, I then started his morning routine, Fela completed his morning routine although a bit slow in completing his morning routine Fela completed it well on clear instructions as to complie to the care plan.
I applied all creams to Fela and made my way downstaira to prepare breakfast, On Felas arrival he walked along the corridor going towards the living room in a calm manner I was in the kitchen by the side of he grey bin facing the corridor, I then lifted my arm and put a tissue to my nose to wipe it, at the momemt Fela had laughed himself to me in a aggressive manner grabbed my arm with two hands and proceeded to bite me 3 times – Once on my inner arm and twice on my outer arm, although I didn't realise Fela released himself and continued to scream loudly and make his way to the living room , I ran towards the staff room fearing for my safety, I attempted to block myself in the staff room using a chair against the the door handle.
My 1st reaction was to contact Zoe Holmes (Team leader) I advised Zoe of the situation that had arisen moments earlier, conversation ended with Zoe advising she would contact Michael and for me to make my way outside the house to the drive way.
Moments later Michael arrived and looked Th rough the patio doors to see how Fela was.
Michael advised he would take me to the hospital to have my injuries assessed, in the meantime Zoe and Adele arrived at the property and Michael advised Zoe and Adele not to go in the property as arousal.state was still high.
