20/09/2019 – Afternoon shift – carla cornelius

Shift Report:

Fela was encouraged to take a nap on the red settee after lunch so he was left in room with the blinds down and some soothing music on softly for two hours to try to make up for his sleep deprivation over two nights.

When Fela woke up, he had his snack slightly late but he was clearly in a better mood and more alert. Fela did not want to help or watch Michael cook, and he did not want to help me set the table.

Fela was excited to eat his T-bone steak dipping it in hot pepper sauce and ketchup. I managed to engage Fela in some dancing after dinner whilst listening to Joe Cocker, Westlife and MPeople on Youtube. He seemed to enjoy it especially stealing glances of himself in the mirror above his favourite armchair in the lounge.

His bedtime Kalms x2  were introduced after his snack with just a bit of water. He is now in the bath looking very sleepy. Hopefully he will have a good night’s sleep.
