I arrived on shift just before 9am, fela was in bed asleep, so I took handover from Chloe. Fela woke as I was taking handover , so I went up to fela and gave him his supplements, tea and fruit at 09:05am.
I then asked fela would like to get in the shower, fela said yes and happily went to the bathroom.
Fela removed his clothes then got into the shower. I prompted fela with personal care.
Once out of the shower fela got his clothes on, all creams applied.
Fela made his way downstairs, put his apron on, we said prayer and fela ate well.
All supplements taken.
Fela then removed his apron, made his way to the rocker, and relaxed listening to music and having his cup of tea.
I then cracked on with chores whilst fela relaxed.
At 11am fela then watched church on tv and had a light snack of fruit as he had not long finished breakfast.
At 11:05am fela became very agitated, banging his feet on the floor, moving side to side on rocker and banging rocker on the wall and vocal unhappy. I asked fela what was the matter but fela did not respond and became more agitated, I came out of the lounge and gave fela time to calm down.
Fela calmed at 11:13am, Emma asked him if he was ok and what he would like, fela signed for pasta and chicken and then laughed. Emma told fela that we have chicken for lunch and he appeared much happier.
Fela became agitated again at 12pm, this lasted a few minutes. Banging his feet, clicking his fingers and vocal.

At 12:25pm fela made his way to the toilet and passed urine.
We all sat down for lunch at 12:50pm, we said prayer and fela ate well.
After lunch fela had cake and ice cream.
Fela then made his way to the sofa and relaxed with a cup of honey and lemon tea.
Once he had finished his tea we made the room sleep ready and fela lay down on the sofa, blanket over him and little women dvd put on.
Fela used the toilet at 14.05pm and passed urine.
Fela then went back to the lounge and become agitated, jumping up and down, stamping his feet and vocal unhappy.
Once calm I asked fela if he would like to lie back down, fela agreed and lay down, I popped the blanket on him and then gave him a head massage.
Fela then decided to sit back up and continued to watch his film with his blanket on him.
At 3:30pm fela sat at the table and had his snack and drink.
Fela then made his way to the sofa and relaxed and watched the rest of his dvd.
Once the film finished I asked fela if he would like to listen to music, fela said yes so I put bob Marley on for him.
Claire then came on shift and I gave her handover.
Fela has been agitated on and off throughout the day and also been vocal unhappy all day.
Fela has not appeared to want us in the room with him and has not really engaged with us today unless asking for food.
