*Sorry this is late but Michael took me on a surprise joyride after leaving Fela’s.
When I arrived around 9:00, Fela was still in bed. I was told he had a very disturbed night with prolonged period of being awake, and that he had only settled to sleep at 6:00. Angelia and I decided to let him sleep and wake up naturally.
In the meantime, we busied ourselves with household tasks as quietly as we could. I went into the back garden and pulled as many weeds as I could, and watered some pots.
We heard Fela at 10:20, and took him his waking supplements with water, spiced ginger tea and an apple. He gave me a big smile as I walked through the door, and looked well-rested. I chatted about the day ahead, and gave him some wake up kisses.
*I noticed that the waterproof mattress protector and sheet had come loose on the left side of the bed. also the weighted blanket was almost completely out of the duvet cover. Fela may have been uncomfortable in the night as a result of this.
Fela did his morning routine slowly – perhaps because I was talking Angelia through the steps, and he was busy listening to every word rather than concentrating on the task at hand. He was down for breakfast at 12:15. we decided to give him his usual porridge which he adores rather than skip it and go straight to lunch. Angelia made a delicious porridge out of his muesli with a cherry on top as he had signed for a cherry.
*When he was putting on his ankle socks before breakfast, we noticed he had removed some skin underneath his right foot, and a pink subdermal area was noticeable. I applied some aloe propolis to the area. A bodymapping chart was done and left on the sideboard to be handed over with instructions to apply aloe propolis cream to the area morning and night during both routines.
After breakfast I did the board with Fela, and he seemed okay with it. We listened to a bit of smooth fm, then we got ready to go to Tunstall park and the butcher’s. The weather was gorgeous and I saw angles of the park I had never seen before. We went up the stairs for a nosey and discovered the clock tower. Fela was picking up a lot of branches on the way. He was wearing his new sandals and his coppery summer jacket, and he looked very dapper indeed. The jacket was removed when we returned to the car as it was very hot and he was sweating.
On our return home, Fela had his lunch. [see arousal state]. We decided to let him chill because of the disturbed night and the heat so I put on some Tuesday cafe music, drew the lounge blinds and half the curtain to block out the bright sunlight.
On my departure, he was sitting in his rocker, and looked very relaxed but tired.
Arousal States – Start: 1 Baseline End: 1 Baseline Did his state change? Yes to 2b – Vocal unhappy Fela became very vocal half way through his lunch but calmed after about 20 minutes. He had on bare feet after removing his sandals before lunch so not sure if the bare floor was irritating the undersole of his right foot where he has removed some skin to reveal a pink, sub-dermal area (see body mapping chart left at house done this morning). Did he have a bowel movement? Yes Bristol score: Was Fela incontinent?: Yes Did he have vigorous exercise?: Yes – Walk around Tunstall Park which led to Fela sweating.
