Shift Report:
*Sorry this is late. I have come down with another cold.
Fela arrived just before 17:00. He was relatively calm and seemed happy. the highlights of the evening were:
- I did the board and Fela was content just to listen to music until dinnertime. He listened to relaxing jazz on youtube with a seaside cafe image. When offered he said no to playing on the tongue drum.
- For dinner Fela enjoyed steak and chips with macaroni cheese and veg. This was followed by ice cream on a cone. We were encouraging Fela to use the ketchup for dipping and not the water glass. This is an ongoing goal.
- After dinner, Michael offered Fela a DVD – ‘Garfield’ whilst he used the shoulder massager.
- When I came downstairs to give Fela his kalms and snack, he pulled me to the bathroom, and insisted I begin to fill the bath. Michael explained to him that he would be sleeping at his home, and we showed him the board.
- Michael took Fela back around 20:30 to be welcomed by Teresa. He reported that Fela was noisy on his return.
