25/03/2021 – Morning shift – zoe holmes

Shift Report:

On my arrival Fela was in bed, we had handover and I heard Fela so I went into Fela at approximately 9.14am, Fela sat up and asked for his porridge and the trimmings, he then asked for pasta, fish and then five minutes, I asked Fela if he wanted to lie back down and he instantly lay down and covered himself up.

I heard Fela and went back up at 10.05am, Fela sat up in bed and signed what he wanted for breakfast, Fela seemed much happier, he then went to the bathroom and sat on the toilet but didn’t do anything, Fela was very slow processing but did a good job getting undressed, once in the shower Fela washed himself good, he requested five minutes.

Once out of the shower Fela dried himself and then sat on his bed, again Fela as been very slow in processing when completing his morning routine, I’ve gave Fela plenty of reassurance and let him go at his own pace, at points it was like Fela was getting stuck completing a task, like putting on his vest, top and trousers.

Fela then went into the bathroom to brush his teeth, Fela became slightly agitated, this only lasted a minute.

Once downstairs Fela ate his breakfast and was full of smiles listening to Emma singing.

Fela then relaxed listening to music and the board was done, after awhile Fela went to the toilet and had a small bowel movement, we then got ready to go out.

We headed out on a neighbourhood walk with a smiling Fela, Fela was happy and content on our walk, we walked for 25 minutes, due to having to return for the men to fix the sofa, they are due between 1pm and 4pm, once home Fela sat at the table and had snack.

After I did the board with Fela and he chose to watch Call of the Wild.

Fela as been slow processing this morning.
