Fela was in the lounge, listening to music when I arrived. I said hello and asked if he was OK. He gave me a thumbs up. He looked content and was quiet. I then had handover.
At 1735, Michael came to fela’s house with the shopping and a dvd that mama had bought him called Little Women.
At 1730 I gave fela’s keloids a clean and he continued to listen to music until dinner was ready. Fela took his supplement.
Fela used the toilet before sitting down to eat at 1755. He said prayer and then ate nicely. Fela asked for a biscuit. We didn’t have any but he had a rice cake with chocolate on top and some ice cream.
Fela then brought his bowl and glass to the kitchen and washed them up with one verbal prompt. He did this well.
Fela then went to sit back down before getting ready to go for a walk. Fela used the toilet again before leaving the house. Fela was a bit vocal on his walk, but I wouldn’t say noisy. Just a low level hum.
We got back to fela’s house at 1940 and fela went to the toilet again. Fela passed a bowel movement. He got washed up and came to sit down. I gave fela a new shirt as his was damp with sweat. We then sat down to watch fela’s new film.
Fela then had his cup of tea at 1950 and then his snack at 2015 while watching the film. He seemed to be quite engaged in it.
Mama rang to speak to fela at 2035. Fela said goodbye at 2055 and the went straight to the bathroom. Fela sat on the toilet and got undressed. Then into the bath at 2105.
Fela washed his body and hair very well with verbal prompting. Then lay down to relax at 2110. Fela was relaxed in the bath when I said goodbye at 2115.
