Fela was sitting relaxing to music on my arrival. I had handover from Claire, we then decided to go on a neighbourhood walk straight away as the rain had stopped and Fela appeared to be in a good mood. We walked for around 50 mins.
When we arrived home Fela removed his shoes and coat and went to sit on the toilet where I assisted him to remove his clothing (Shirt, joggers and socks) due to them being wet. He dryed himself and I helped to dry his back. He then put on new clothing and went to sit in his rocking chair to listen to music. I removed his bandages as they were also wet. Soon after Fela went to sit at the dining table to enjoy his snack. Afterwards I redressed Felas bandages and put him a DVD on he chose to watch ‘101 Dalmatians’.
Fela became very agitated at 12.35 slapping/hitting his hands, stamping feet, rocking backwards and forwards vigorously, loud angry gruntal noises and sweating a lot. This lasted for 30 mins afterwards Fela removed his shirt and applied a new one. Lunch was then ready. Fela then got adgitated once again at 13.15 which lasted approx 10 mins. We then sat down at the dining table to enjoy lunch we said prayer together and Fela ate well. Once he had finished he returned to his rocking chair to resume watching his DVD.
Fela has been adgitated multiple times after eating his lunch when asked what is wrong he is constantly asking for various foods and juice. Myself and Zoe have told Fela what is for his dinner which he seems okay with but soon after he returns to being adjitated/vocal unhappy.
At 5.30 Fela let us sit with him after telling us to go all day after asking on many occasions. At 18.00 dinner was ready. Fela used the toilet before putting on his apron and sitting down to say prayer. Fela ate well and enjoyed his food.
Since sitting down for dinner Fela has calmed and been in a happy mood.
After Fela had finished eating he returned to his chair to listen to music. Later he bounced on his gym ball for a short period and then wanted to stop. Once Fela had returned to his chair I asked Fela if he would like music or DVD – he chose the DVD ‘Happy Feet Two’ Zoe also did the board with him.
Fela later had his snack at the dining table then returned to watch the end of his film. Once the film had ended Fela did his bath routine excellent.
