Shift Report:

Fela had just had a shave on my arrival, I said hello and then Michael and Teresa handed over about Fela’s hospital appointment yesterday and showed me his new dressings and how to apply them, after I did the board and then we had handover while Fela relaxed.

While Fela relaxed staff did chores and then we got ready to go out, we headed to Chatterley Whitfield and Fela again really enjoyed our walk, full of beautiful smiles and very happy, after Fela had his snack and then we took the long way home.

Once home Fela relaxed and then Claire arrived for her shift, we had handover and then I prepared the evening meal.

We all sat down together at the table and Fela said prayer and ate well, after Fela wiped the table and then sat in his rocking chair.

I asked Fela if he would like us to stay and he said no, a short while later Fela was happy for us to sit at the table completing some jobs while Fela relaxed.

At 7.10pm Fela requested to go asleep, I explained that Fela was going to have snack and then a relaxing bath before going to bed, Fela then kept falling asleep in the chair, staff encouraged Fela to stay awake.

At 8pm Fela had his evening snack and became agitated, please see arousal state, once calm Fela sat I’m his rocking chair.

After Fela went into the bathroom and I supported Fela to get undressed and into the bath, Fela then happily relaxed splashing.
