27/11/2020 – Morning shift – alicia keenan

Shift Report:

I came on shift just before 9am, fela was just getting into the shower.

Chloe then assisted fela with his morning routine whilst I made his breakfast and cracked on with chores.

Fela came downstairs, popped his apron on and said prayer and ate neat and tidy, fela then had his supplements.

Fela then relaxed listening to music.

Fela became agitated whilst listening to music at 10:25am, I asked fela if he needed anything and fela asked for crisps, I told fela he can have crisps later. Fela then asked me to go and asked for 5, fela continued to be very vocal, rocking vigorously in his chair and stamping his feet.

Once calm I asked fela if he would like some fruit, fela accepted a banana.

Fela became very agitated again at 10:46am, making guttural noises, banging his feet, rocking vigorously.

Once calm I went into fela and gave him his shoes, fela was laughing and smiling.

Fela then made his way to the toilet (b/m medium).

We then headed out for a lovely drive to Longton park, once we got out the car and made our way into the park fela became agitated, stamping his feet and being vocal, we walked for about 5 minutes and then headed back to the car.

We then had a lovely drive back home, fela appeared much calmer once we were back in the car.

Once home fela removed his outdoor wear and made his way to the dining room.

Fela said prayer and then ate lunch.

Chloe then sat with fela and looked through the dvd book with him (he picked Joseph).

Fela is now happily watching Joseph and relaxing.

I asked fela if he would like a drink of tea, fela signed for a honey lemon and ginger tea and smiled when I gave this to him.

After fela had finished watching his dvd I did the board with him. We then did the Makaton signs for weather, I then asked fela if he would like me to read a story to him but he said no. Fela then cleaned his keloids.

Fela then made his way to the bathroom and used the toilet (b/m medium).

Once fela had finished he made his way to lounge and had his snack.

Fela appears much calmer and happier this afternoon but has been very up and down this morning.
