Fela arrived around 5.15pm and was clearly back to his happy, energetic self. He requested cake, biscuits, juice and ketchup so he was clearly in a talkative mood. I re-assured him that he would get a bit of them during the evening. He went upstairs to use the loo then settled on the red settee in my office, and requested music. He chose Fireside jazz with the image of the fire on youtube.
Fela came rushing downstairs for dinner when Michael called up that dinner was ready. He had a pound of steak and was enjoying each bite with lots of smiles. He had a dessert treat after wards as Michael bought him some gluten-free, milk-free, egg-free rocky road from the Co-op.
After dinner, Michael offered him a DVD and he chose ‘Garfield’. His right keloid was bleeding a bit so I prompted him to apply witchhazel solution with cotton pads then I gave him a piece of aloe vera plant to rub on to the area as it’s good for stopping bleeding. He was happy to do this and the bleeding stopped.
Fela had his snack whilst watching ‘Garfield’. It finished around 8:45 pm just as it was time to leave for home. All supplements and medicines were administered and Medicines Report has been submitted.
*Fela was scratching his face a lot so could do with a facial trim tomorrow since the swelling on his right keloid has gone down. The blades may need to be cleaned with the oil provided before use.
