Shift Report:

Fela is having a slow morning but it appears to be from too much sleep. He was in bed and lights out by 22:35 after I gave him a tiger balm rub on his back, chest and forehead which I had promised him all day.

Fela did his evening routine very well, and there were lots of jokes, teases and giggles from the both of us. I got lots of eye contact. I tried demonstrating to him how to tap his new toothbrush head with the two heads (that’s all we have at the moment) so he did not break it by tapping it on the basin/windows sill. Using my own toothbrush which also has two heads, I tapped it into my hand gently. I don’t think he got it but he found it very entertaining. He went to bed looking very content. I asked him to try his best to keep the bed dry, and wake and go to the loo or call to me to take him.

when I woke at 4:oo, he appeared to be still sleeping as there was silence. I woke at 6:45 and prompted him to the loo which he was quick to respond to. he passed urine, then went back to bed to lie down. so I let him sleep some more. Michael brought him his tea and apple at 8:20. Fela was very slow in consuming them, and did not finish until 9:00 then he was immediately prompted to the shower at 9:10. He passed urine then went in the shower but kept requesting more time.

By the time he was down for breakfast, it was 9:50. Chloe and Zoe were there to greet him. At the moment, he is eating his luxury porridge. all in all, he had a good night, and seems calm and content.
