Fela was finishing off his lunch on my arrival, and was in a happy mood. He asked me for cake, and went in the kitchen to bring out the bowls; Chloe re-directed him to helping with the washing up whilst she did the drying. Fela continued to ask for flapjack but he was only able to say the letter ‘a’ so when I said flapjack, he was happy. I told him that Chloe and Kuda would give him a bit of flapjack after dinner later.
As Fela listened to the Drifters, I engaged him in playing cards which he enjoyed. After the CD finished, I put on ‘Saxophone jazz by the fire’ on youtube. Chloe engaged Fela in a 500 piece jigsaw whilst I cleaned the shower room.
Fela interrupted his jigsaw to have a snack. Afterwards, he showed no interest in returning. Thankfully, it was on the portapuzzle so he can return to it another day.
Fela was happily rocking in his chair when I departed.
