*Sorry this was late. Immediately after Fela left, we had an important meeting to review Fela’s budget which lasted for 4.5 hours.
Fela was in bed slightly later at 22:40 because I had to apply a plaster to his left keloid which he had caused to bleed repeatedly during the day. I also applied Tiger balm to behind his ears and back and front of neck. As usual the fan was left on. I checked on Fela at 4:55 as I could hear him faintly. I prompted him to the loo where he sat down for a while and did not emerge from the loo until nearly half an hour later then he went back to bed and I applied more Tiger balm to behind his ears, front and back of neck as he was scratching his throat (his Adam’s apple was moving up and down quickly). Fela was slightly vocal until 5:45 then there was silence.
I went up to greet him at 8:00. He sat up quite quickly in bed and we proceeded with his morning routine. I noted that the plaster was still in tact and appeared to be healing well. At 9:15 he was down for breakfast of porridge with all the trimmings which he had requested repeatedly since waking using makaton. By this time, Teresa and Nadia had just arrived. They left with a contented looking Fela at 9:45.
