I came on shift just before 1:30pm, fela was just finishing his lunch. Fela then drank his water, had some fruit and then made his way over to the rocker to relax and listen to music and drink his tea. I then did the board with fela.
Myself and Claire both asked fela if he would like to lie down but fela refused.
Fela made his way to the toilet at 14:45pm, we have checked fela regularly but he has kept asking for 5.
Fela finished on the toilet at 15:10pm (small b/m).
Fela then relaxed on his rocker and I cleaned his keloids for him.
At 15:30pm fela had his snack and drink and chose a dvd to watch (the perfect man).
Fela then allowed myself and Claire to sit with him whilst he watched the movie. Fela became vocal so myself and Claire left the room.
At 16:30pm fela made his way to the toilet, we checked on fela regularly.
Fela had a small b/m.
Fela then relaxed finishing his movie.
At 17:30pm fela took his supplements, fela then made his way to the dining table and said prayer and ate neat and tidy.
Fela then continued to watch the movie, once it had finished he requested music, I then did the board with fela.
At 7pm we asked fela If he was ready to do walk at home but fela clearly said no. I asked fela if he would like me to read him a story and fela agreed.
We then all did Makaton signs, fela did very well showing Teresa signs for the weather and then for plate. Fela then continued listening to music.
At 7:30pm fela had his hot drink.
At 8pm fela had his supplement and snack.
At 8:30pm fela had his call to mama, fela appeared extremely tired today so only had a short call.
Fela then made his way to the bathroom, undressed and then got into the bath.
Teresa assisted fela with his night time routine and fela is now happily splashing away.
Fela has appeared to want a lot of alone time today, he has also appeared very tired.
