Education at Home: Writing Various Cards & Letters

*Cards to be provided.

• Mothers Day card for Nanna Hazel.
• Happy Birthday card for Nanna Hazel.
• Thank you card and letter for Liz.
• Letters to Nanna, Grandad Johnny and Uncle Chris.

*Please read the letters and cards before beginning to write.

If he is in the mood, you may also prompt him to copy the names on to the envelopes.

Method:

• Read the words on the card with Fela – point to each word as you read on the front, inside and back
• Prompt Fela to write ‘Dear…(name of person)’ at the top of the inside of the card.
• Prompt Fela to use a pen to sign his name on the bottom of the inside of the card.
• Well done, Fela!
• Do not seal the envelopes as Carla may wish to add a few words before sealing.

*Carla will pick up the cards and letters latest on Sunday 5 May.
