Fela Chores: Wiping table, Drying Dishes & Putting away Cutlery in Dining Room

Wiping table

Prompt Fela to use his yellow spray bottle with a green cloth.

Drying dishes

*Only prompt Fela into the kitchen if he is calm. You can print out the image below of ‘hands drying a glass’ so he knows what’s next on the TEACCH board.

Fela to be given a clean tea towel to wipe dishes then he can hand them to staff to be put away.

Putting away cutlery

Fela can be prompted to put away one set of clean cutlery in the various sections of the cutlery drawer under the side board in the lounge:

• knives x 4
• forks x 4
• big spoons x4
• teaspoons x4

Tip: you might prompt him to count the cutlery as he is putting each item in the drawer.
