Fela Chores: Clean/Polish Shoes & Wipe Brown Settee
* If you can motivate Fela to do some chores earlier in the day when he is more energetic, that would be great!
You may need to sit with Fela and show him how to do it. He is good at imitating.
Fela Chores:
Clean & Polish
Brown sandals (outdoor)
*Some ‘Mink oil’ brown polish will be sent to the house to apply with a paper towel, followed by brushing to shine.

- Prompt Fela to put on a pair of gloves for cleaning.
- You can place a brown towel on the floor under Fela so he can put the choes on it. Any dirt can fall on to the towel.
- If extra dirt needs removing from the soles, run them under water outside or use grey bowl [above food cupboards in kitchen] and brush off with the red hand brush.
- Prompt Fela to wipe them with a green microfibre cloth dampened with water and a little washing up liquid if dirt is ingrained.
- Offer him a hand wipe when he is finished.
Brown Settee [focus on arms, seat cushions, back, sides and skirting behind legs when seated]
- model to Fela how and where to wipe
- hand him one disinfectant wipe at a time [if you give him the packet, he will want to finish it.
- alternatively, use a green cloth,
- spray multipurpose spray into cloth then encourage Fela to wipe for about 5 minutes
Well done, Fela (double thumbs up!)
