Post-Surgery Recovery on Ward

Fela will most likely be groggy.

Post-surgery prayer:

Dear Lord,

Your mercies are new to me every day.

I give you thanks for my health.

Continue your healing within me.

This prayer I make through Christ our Lord.

Mama, Michael and Claire will try to keep him comfortable and amused.

He will be offered a choice of:

• stories
• prayers
• DVDs
• fidget toys
• massages: hand, head feet

The nurse on duty will no doubt check his vital signs from time to time and indicate when he can have some toast with peanut butter and maybe some jam too! that should bring a smile to his face.
